Christopher J. Annis
Mr. Annis was born and raised in Merrill, Wisconsin. He attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on a full ROTC scholarship. He graduated in 1992, with a bachelor's degree in Physics and was stationed with the U.S. Navy in Orlando, Florida. He subsequently attended law school at the University of Florida where he graduated in 1997.
He initially worked for a plaintiff's personal injury firm in Gainesville where learned the basics of handling personal injury cases, including: auto accidents, workers' compensation, slip and fall accidents, animal attacks, and various types of insurance claims, including PIP, life, homeowners and flood insurance. It was there that he met his assistant, Dolly Wright. Mrs. Wright has over 20 years of experience as a paralegal in Gainesville. She shares Mr. Annis' passion for helping injured people and has worked with Mr. Annis for the past 15 years.
Upon leaving that firm, Mr. Annis worked for an insurance defense firm in Gainesville for two years. It was there that Mr. Annis learned how claims are handled from the insurance company's perspective. Mr. Annis utilizes this inside knowledge each day in his practice.
In 2004, Mr. Annis started his own practice helping injured people fight against insurance companies. Over the past six years, it has been Mr. Annis' pleasure to serve hundreds of clients. Mr. Annis' main goal in practicing law is to treat his clients as if they were members of his own family. He wants each client to conclude their case knowing that he has done everything he could to help them achieve the best possible result.
